Secondly, financial strength: Make sure to be financially fit before getting married, so that getting pregnant immediately after marriage would not result in sleepless nights. Most women in the US, become pregnant even before marriage, which should be avoided due to moral and financial grounds.

Consult a doctor – Most of the doctors recommend using contraceptive pills to avoid pregnancy just after marriage. This is applicable for women who are 20 to 30 years of age.

Take a decision together – Consent of both the partners is important while planning a baby. A couple should well plan their family even before marriage.
